E.ON Westfalen Weser AG (EWW) ranks among Germany’s ten largest regional utilities. EWW was formed in mid-2003 by the merger of the three regional utilities EMR (Herford), PESAG (Paderborn), and Wesertal (Hameln). The modern, multi-line business is headquartered in Paderborn and has a customer base of 740,000. Its core business areas are the supply of electricity, natural gas, water, and usable energy. EWW also provides waste water, waste disposal, and telecommunications services.

Its supply network covers two German states in the fast-growing regions of Eastern Westphalia-Lippe and Southern Lower Saxony. EWW prides itself on providing a reliable and economical supply of energy and water to industry, the skilled trades, agricultural operations, and residential customers. With its three central main offices in Hameln, Herford, and Paderborn as well as a number of decentralized service centers throughout the region EWW is close to its customers, highly flexible, and able to provide first-rate local customer service.
