E.ON Thüringer Energie AG is the largest energy-sector service company in the German state of Thuringia. It supplies electricity to more than 550,000 homes and businesses, to about 3,800 commercial and industrial customers, and to 32 municipal and regional utilities. E.ON Thüringer Energie AG also supplies district heating to the cities of Bad Salzungen and Jena. Most of E.ON Thüringer Energie AG's proprietary generation comes from renewables.
