A wholly-owned E.ON Energie AG subsidiary, E.ON Italia S.p.A. has been active in Italy since the beginning of energy market liberalization. Company's activities are focused on the sale of electrical energy. Reference targets are industrial & commercial customers as well as others wholesalers and resellers. The company supports, thanks to its knowledge of the Italian market and its technical skills, the development of power generation projects with respect to large scale power plants, cogeneration and wind parks. Such developing activities in the power generation field are carried out by specific companies. E.ON Italia also support Group strategy to cement the position in Italy's burgeoning energy sector with additional joint ventures and partnerships.
